This was a blast!
Only thing I did not like was how the dash became less important over time.
Other than that this was very well balanced, pretty, sounded good, etc.

Pretty shamelessly ripped off "strike kitty force", but at least its a solid rip off and oh my god I have been playing for 30 minutes!

the thing I really did not like where the sound effects. They are always the same and it feels kind of cheap, since there is no music to distract you from them.
I would recommend you to make a bunch of different versions of the same sound effect and loop over them instead of using only one.
Other than that the game was fun, simplistic and stylish!

For a first game this is awesome!
It is nothing new or exciting (i still like it tho), but making a solid plattformer is a good starting point!
I would recommend you to watch a lot of developer talks on youtube, they will help you to improve your games!

Biggest problem for me:
The Tiles all look very similar to each other. Walls, higher plattforms, the basic ground all look pretty much the same, making it hard to navigate.
10/10 for style and presentation
6/10 for not giving me enough rewards/new weapons to motivate me to try again and again.
I wish my "up" key wasnt broken :(
